For the first time in years, Mobile World Congress show in Barcelona was not on Valentines day! So, we ran a fun 'Love MoMo' gig here in Tokyo.. and gathered tons of sweets to send for folks up in the 3.11 crisis zone. A great evening had by all - plenty of photos from that night.

The Yozakura Hanami gig was April 5th at Ueno Park.. with 'not so Angry' guests offering groovy prizes to the most lucky talented players! We drained two kegs of creamy smooth Moretti beer and had roving TV crews shooting all the action that was broadcast nationwide.. wOOt!

On June 11th we welcomed App Annie execs during their Tokyo visit, while en-route to the annual IVS in Sapporo, most fortunate to have them to our stage - First! It was an awesome to see everyone together at Super-Deluxe.. we even managed to get this new MoMo Tokyo website launched just in time.

An honour to partner with Ishinomaki 2.0 and Startup Weekend for event in Tohoku July 27 - 29th. The organisers brought many talented folks to join as mentors, judges and sponsors; with difficult conditions in most affected areas - impressive results for the effort!

Our 8th Anniversary was Sept. 10th on the roof-top of Tokyu Shibuya Honten, featuring Ichiban Shibori Frozen Drafts of course! Yes.. it was a truly fantastic evening, with a cool breeze and all the MoMo Tokyo family, looking back on the many years flown bye already..

It's always a treat to have MoMo at the swanky Canada embassy. On Oct. 22nd we hosted seven companies visiting for Japan IT Week. A full house, with plenty of food & drinks, to welcome Intl. guests 'bringing the community together'.. 8-)

We had super feedback on 'Demo Pod' concept theme in 2011 and ran another open-to-all gig Oct. 29th at Wired Cafe in KDDI Designing Studio. This no big screen presentations - All p2p Action - was wonderful chaos with over a dozen teams on-hand to show off their wares.

Rounding out this year Dec. 3rd we did TechXmas Bonenkai at Super-Deluxe with a yummy buffet, and some great door prizes for lucky folks, who made their way - in the rain - to join in the festivities. Our very best wishes to all for safe & happy holidays.. Yoroshiku!
