NetTokyo Summer Charity Networking Event

On 23 July, eight of Tokyo’s business networking organizations will combine forces to stage NetTokyo Summer 2005, a charity event aiming to be the largest gathering of professionals for the international community in Japan this year.

“NetTokyo is a mega-network. It will bring together an assembly of hundreds of professionals from across Tokyo’s business landscape,” said Andrew Shuttleworth, event organizer. Participating organizations include The Entrepreneur Association of Tokyo, Ecademy Japan, Gary’s Happy Hour, ITV Japan, Tabemo Dining Club, Mobile Monday Tokyo, ICA Japan and Asian Tigers Japan.

Proceeds from the event will be donated to the organizers’ charities of choice: Nonohana-no-ie (children’s home), Kokkyo Naki Kodomotachi, the Japan Leukemia Research Fund and the YMCA Children’s Community Fund.

Price: 4,000 yen in advance; 5,000 yen on the door
